I started my health and weight loss journey a few months after I had my first born in 2013
(Was diagnosed with HG during BOTH of my pregnancies)

Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) is a pregnancy complication that is characterized by severe nausea, vomiting, weight loss, and possibly dehydration.[1] Feeling faint may also occur.[2] It is considered more severe than morning sickness.[2] Symptoms often get better after the 20th week of pregnancy but may last the entire pregnancy duration.[2]

Also included during both of my pregnancies were hypertension, pre-eclampsia and gestational diabetes.

Afterwards being diagnosed with PCOS polycystic ovary syndrome:

A hormonal disorder causing enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer edges. I was so EAGER for answers and a healthier lifestyle I began to research on healthy living, lifestyle changes, and of course dieting/nutrition. Which led to smoothie recipes which then introduced me to juice recipes and  I instantly fell in love! The fact that I can grab a juice when I'm on the run or on the go (extremely helpful to parents) that is healthy, organic, and nutritious inspired me to invent some of my own simple recipes that are affordable to all!

I began my weight loss journey weighing in at 203lbs and the unhealthiest/ unhappiest I've ever been in my life. My juices along side with healthy dieting and nutrition (My family and I have been plant based for 5years) assisting in my weight loss of over 70+lbs!

The inspiration behind the names are based on what my environment was sometimes like as a child. Instead of running to Mary Jane to relax/refresh, try this Mary Jane juice that will replenish and recharge you. Instead of mixing Gin in your juice to give you that little mood boost try our Gin N' Juice a natural immune booster...the idea is all tied into healing ourselves so that we may focus on healing our HOODS!

In addition I remind you that no matter the journey,
